Toribash

Now, I'm not saying I'm a god at video gaming, and I'm not even a great video gamer. It takes quite a while for me to get good at certain genres of games. Like when I was younger, I used to SUCK at Adventure games, because I just wanted to get to the action already. Now, I'm a lot better at adventure games, but that's going off-track. There's one genre of games that I've always sucked at, and will never be good at... EVER, and that's the Fighting genre. I'm probably one of the worst fighting video game players ever, except for in Tekken where I am subpar. Now, Toribash is a fighting game at heart, where it pits two people, from you against yourself, to other people online. Now, before I even picked up this game, I went online and checked it out on youtube, and compared to me, some of you guys are fucking animals, doing Jumping Twist Kicks, and fucking sweeps to the opponents legs, I could never do this stuff! So, lets get more into the game's genre, because it isn't just a Fighting game, now is it? It's a fighting game where you have to actually move the joints in the body to make the Xiao Xiao guy (A game where everybody is Stick Figures, I just tend to call them Xiao Xiao guy now, because that's what they mostly look like) move and attack. So, therefore, it's a Strategic Fighting game. It's the kind of game you have fun sucking at, and then you start to get really good after practice and have a ton of fun being good, too. Now, I'm not denying this game is fun at all, but the most fun I get out of the game is starting up Free Play, and just randomly clicking everywhere on all of the joints of one guy, and then move onto the other, and see what crazy fighting move they both pull out. It's absolutelty hilarious, and I actually managed to pull off a Jumping Twist Kick in one of the videos I saved of that. There's a shop in the game too, so you can buy like different blood colors and stuff. I was suggested by a guy on youtube to this game, and boy was I glad I checked it out. But, you should definately give it a try, even if you aren't a super Fighting game person like I am, so you can see the funny moves and shit you can pull off. And, I almost forgot, the sound effects and music are terrific if I remember correctly.

I'd definately give this game a 4/5, it's funny, appealing, great sound and music, good gameplay, but it does get a bit repetitive after awhile, and it just not be your cup of tea.
